I’ve been working online for over 15 years now, and if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that not all “make money online” advice is created equal.
Back in 2010, I left the traditional 9–5 path and went full-time with online business. I started out freelancing as an SEO consultant after spending a few years building (and failing with) niche websites. Those early failures taught me more than any course ever could — and helped me realize there’s real demand for skills like SEO when applied correctly.
Over time, I transitioned into affiliate marketing and continued to focus heavily on organic traffic generation, especially through SEO. I’ve run various review sites over the years, but I created MarksInsights.com with a different goal in mind:
To share authentic, experience-backed reviews and advice — without the hype, without the BS.
There’s too much noise out there in the make money online space. Flashy screenshots, inflated promises, and programs that sound too good to be true (because they are). I wanted to create a space where people could get real insight, from someone who’s actually tested the methods, walked the path, and made the mistakes.
These days, I continue to earn online through a few different models, including a local marketing business — but I only recommend what I actually believe in, and what I’d genuinely use if I were starting over again today.
More than anything, I value the freedom that online business gives me — to work on my terms, spend time with my family, travel, stay active, and enjoy life. (And yes, I’m also slightly obsessed with coffee.)
